We provide full livery services and can guarantee your horse will be cared for and exercised as if it was our own. You can use our arena (by prior arrangement) or go for hacks in the surrounding countryside.

We break and train horses and ponies for riding and driving and we take horses that have a habit that needs correcting.

Typically we take a horse for 4 – 6 weeks to break and back and leave it ready for bringing on. The time taken is obviously dependant on the temperament and previous handling of the horse. A well handled horse can be put to work immediately whereas a wild horse will take a week to 10 days to settle in and allow handling.
The future development of a horse is reliant on the handling and work it receives after initial breaking and it is sometimes good to bring a horse back for a week or two after 2-3 months. For a horse that continues to be well handled and worked this may not be necessary.
